Planning application for sustainable drainage scheme for enhanced restoration at a sand and gravel quarry near Doncaster using renewable energy source. Nominated for and commended for an RICS Sustainability Award 2011.
METHLEY QUARRY, LEEDS
Planning applications and EIA for extraction of sand and gravel and coal, with restoration to nature conservation. Preparation and submission of a Coal Authority Licence application including liaison with the Authority on determination of the same. Drafting of a long term aftercare management agreement.
GRAIG QUARRY, DENBIGHSHIRE, WALES
Review of Old Mineral Permission submission and consolidation of existing planning consents for limestone quarry containing a SSSI and adjacent to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Planning Application and EIA for a greenfield sand and gravel site located adjacent to a SSSI with restoration to agriculture and nature conservation. Preparation of legal agreements to enable the development. Provision of advice pertaining to the diversion of Public Rights of Way.

Planning application and EIA to recover remaining minerals reserved from mothballed sand and gravel site with restoration to agriculture and nature conservation.
HARPER LANE, HERTFORDSHIRE
Planning application for a new replacement coated stone plant and ready mixed concrete plant at an established railhead in a Greenbelt location. Provision of advice regarding landscaping and site drainage.
POTGATE QUARRY, NORTH YORKSHIRE
Provision of advice to client in respect of the use of the GPDO to enable the erection of replacement processing plant at a hard rock quarry. Liaison with the MPA to secure approval for the same.
